TRANSLATION PROCESS

ORDER:
1. Send us your document and we will send you a quote.
2. We calculate a quote* based on the applicable rate and forward it to you for approval.

After the quote and completion deadline are approved, we: **
3. Confirm the order
4. Appoint a Project Manager (PM)
5. Select a Project Team (translators, proofreaders)
6. Create initial project glossaries and translation memories based on client materials and our resources
7. Submit documents for translation.

* A fee of PLN 100.00 will be charged for quotes involving multi-tiered www pages, which is reimbursed from the final invoice.
** First orders require a 50% deposit of quoted translation costs.

MAIN STAGE – TRANSLATION PROCESS:
1. The following software supports our translation process:
     • SDL Trados
        - Translation memories
        - Multiterm (glossary)
     • ApSIC Xbench

2. After the base translation is complete, the text is proofread for terminology consistency and style.
3. A second proofreading finished off by text verification using ApSIC Xbench.
4. The final proofreader corrects numbers, symbols, links, etc. and returns the original layout (formatting) of the document.

FINAL STAGE – DELIVERY AND BILLING:
1. The customer receives the completed translation via e-mail, FTP, messenger, etc., as agreed.
2. Invoice delivery

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Quotes are provided upon request and tailored to the specific nature of each order. Costs vary depending on the nature of a given text and completion time.

Completion times:

- Standard up to 5 pages per day*

- Urgent up to 7 pages per day*

- Express up to 11 pages per day*

- Super Express above 12 pages per day (max. 100 pages per day)

* not including days of order placement and order receipt

     • 1 standardized translation page consists of 1500 characters including spaces counted in MS Word
        (rounded up to a half the page).
     • 1 standardized page of sworn translation consists of 1125 characters (rounded up to a half the page).
     • Sworn translation certification: add PLN 19.00 per page.
